Resource Sharing Portal

A report by Google and Temasek revealed that the e-commerce market in Singapore is expected to reach US$5.4 billion (S$7.4 billion) by 2025. The immense growth of e-commerce will open up new opportunities for logistics businesses. As such, the E-Fulfilment Committee led by Ms Gina Toh - Council Member, would continue to delve on a resource sharing portal to encourage businesses to espouse on a “sharing model” to draw on partners’ resources such as manpower, warehousing and distribution while controlling operating costs. With the complexity involved in the resource sharing portal, more considerations and due diligence will be explored by the E-Fulfilment Committee before the platform can be materialized.
