A TLA Graduation Ceremony was held on 30 October 2019 at PIXEL, an innovation space at One North with compliments to the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). Immersing in a trendy and relaxed setting, the graduands and their family members, lecturers as well as their employers celebrated with loud applause at the presentation of Best Achiever Awards, Book Prizes, Advanced Diploma and Diploma Certificates.
Encouraging TLA graduands to embrace new development and learnings to upgrade themselves with future ready skills, Mr Abhilash Murthy – Founder, CEO of Bus Uncle Company was invited to share interesting perspectives on “Because Robots Are People Too”.
TLA graduands were also encouraged to keep themselves updated with the latest industry development through TLA’s initiative, “TLA Graduand Enhancement Journey” by extending a 50% discount off the course fee for the first two Continuous Learning Programmes that they attend each year.
Winners of the Best Achiever Award – Tan Wei Liang Stanley for Diploma in Integrated Logistics Management Programme (Jun 2018 Intake) and Leng May Yee for Diploma in International Freight Management (April 2018 Intake) shared their impassionate learning journey, leading up to the graduation day. Their testimonies were stirring. They point to the relevance of TLA training programmes in their pursuit of life-long upskilling and learning.
